The Soldan Tigers swept past the Goddard Lions 65-44. The Lions were trailing by a few points until the fourth quarter. Senior, Elijah Bishop scored 24, leading both teams in scoring.

When Goddard’s Coach, Matt Lawson, was asked how his team could improve going into the next game, this is what he had to say “Effort and guard all five spots for all 32 minutes.”

“Guarding a team team like that; the second they have the lead, we have to work to turn them over” so Coach Lawson.

 Soldan will play Shawnee Mission South tomorrow at 6:15 pm. Goddard will match up with the Wichita Defenders at 3:00 pm.
